Invest in the
Next Generation.
Sri Lanka’s churches need leaders who are rooted in Scripture, formed in character and ready to serve. Your gift helps LBCS train them.
Why Your Giving
Matters
Student fees cover only part of the cost of theological training. Our donors make up the rest.
Student Scholarships
Every LBCS student receives a two-thirds scholarship, because most of our students are pastors and church workers supported by small congregations. Your gift keeps training within their reach.
Faculty Development
Helping our lecturers study further, teach well online and in class, and mentor students as they grow in character and calling.
Library & Learning
Books, digital journals, Sinhala and Tamil resources, and better classroom technology for students on campus and online.
“The things you have heard me say … entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” — 2 Timothy 2:2
Current Needs
You can give where it is needed most, or toward a specific project.
Campus Renewal
Repairs and upgrades at Peradeniya and Dehiwela, including the graduate centre roof, the residential kitchen and student dormitories.
School of Worship & Music
Instruments, practice rooms and sound equipment for the new Diploma in Worship and Music Ministry, launching in 2027.
Sponsor a Student
Walk with one student through their training. Write to us to ask about sponsoring a student.
